1.3. How Do Students Access the PPL Assessment?

Access the PPL

• Incoming students access the PPL through their Next Steps Center during their remote testing period.  After the remote testing period has ended, Main campus students can only test in-person in the Math building.
• Arizona Online student who have an active PPL account but do not have access to the Next Steps Center can  Contact the Math Placement Office to request access to the PPL. 
• The PPL is available generally March 1 through the first week of fall classes and then October 1 through the first week of spring classes.   Check the website for availability.  
• Students who have an active PPL account  have to wait 7 days between attempts at the test. Use of Prep and Learning is required before accessing a 3rd attempt.
