University Requirement Changes:

Reminder - these apply ONLY to students admitted in Summer or Fall 2026 or later

  • General Education now requires one Civic Institutions (CI) course. This will replace one of the Building Connections (BC) requirements (there will be two BC courses required, plus the new CI course requirement)
  • The Mid Career Writing Assessment requirement has been removed
  • The Foundations Math requirement looks different, but our majors will still fulfill this requirement with coursework from the major. Students should NOT take an extra course to cover foundations math.
